It’s a beautiful thing if you learn to be independent and strong on your own. To not always depend on others. Because you know that you can’t trust everyone in this world. People come and go. And if you learn to be happy on your own, and someone else comes along that is able to add on to that happiness of yours—it’s a feeling like no other.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I wanna raise my children the way I was raised. No ipods, no ‘nooks’, no ipads. You’re listening to music with cds, drawing with actual crayons and paper, reading books you have to physically turn the pages of. You don’t build character and appreciate things getting life’s new materialistic thrills.

I don’t care how mean or rude it is. If you have something on your mind or have a problem, just tell me. Don’t sugar coat it either, just speak your mind. I find that to be way better. I’d respect you more and that shows me that you’re not two faced. It also shows me that I can probably trust you more than other people. Plus, it’s easier to figure out a solution.

I wear 20% of my closet 80% of the time,
which explains why I always have nothing to wear.

Chinese proverb
With money you can buy a house, but not a home. With money you can buy a clock, but not time. With money you can buy a bed, but not sleep. With money you can buy a book, but not knowledge. With money you can buy a doctor, but not good health. With money you can buy a position, but not respect. With money you can buy blood, but not life. With money you can buy sex, but not love.
When you play the field selfishly everything works against you: one can’t insist...
